About this course

Most thesis disasters do not begin at the final writing stage—they begin with small mistakes made at the start. Choose the wrong topic, structure the research poorly, or use an unsuitable methodology, and you may spend months repairing problems that could have been avoided. This course gives you a proven step-by-step system to get the process right from day one.

This course teaches my own distinctive thesis-writing approach—a practical system that is not commonly taught through conventional academic writing methods. Developed, tested, and refined over years, this approach has been used successfully to make thesis and dissertation writing clearer, more structured, and easier to manage from beginning to end. Bonus Companion Book: To complement your learning, you can also search Amazon for my companion book, “Thesis Writing Masterclass: A Complete Step-by-Step Guide to Academic Research, Writing, and Publication Success.

” This book expands on the course and can serve as a practical reference throughout your research and writing, helping you revisit key concepts and reinforce your understanding as you progress through your thesis or dissertation. The same distinctive approach also introduces you to the standards of high-quality academic journal publication, helping you understand how strong research can be developed toward publishable work in peer-reviewed academic journals. Rather than teaching publication through a traditional, theory-heavy textbook method, I explain the process using the same practical approach I have developed, tested, and refined over several years.

You will learn at a clear, student-friendly level how academic researchers think about publication quality, structure their work for scholarly audiences, and develop research with the standards expected in serious academic publishing—an important part of building and advancing an academic career. Thesis Writing Masterclass gives you a practical, step-by-step framework for planning, researching, writing, editing, and completing a high-quality thesis or dissertation. Instead of vague advice, you will learn what to do, why you are doing it, and what to do next—from your first research idea to final submission.

What You Will LearnYou will learn how to:Choose a focused, researchable thesis or dissertation topicDevelop strong research questions and objectivesWrite an effective thesis proposalConduct a structured literature reviewSelect the right research methodologyOrganize and write your thesis chaptersBuild clear academic arguments supported by evidenceImprove academic writing, coherence, and clarityEdit, format, and refine your final thesisUnderstand how strong research can be developed toward high-quality academic journal publicationAvoid common mistakes that cause delays and unnecessary revisionsThis is not a theory-heavy academic writing course. It is a practical thesis-writing system designed to guide you through the entire research process in the right order. The framework is suitable for undergraduate, Master's, postgraduate, and PhD students, as well as early-career researchers across many academic disciplines.

Whether you are starting from zero or already struggling with your dissertation, you will gain a clear roadmap for moving from research idea to final submission with greater structure, clarity, and confidence. By the end of the course, you will be better prepared to plan, structure, research, write, edit, and complete your thesis using a practical step-by-step process. Don’t lose months trying to figure out thesis writing through trial and error.

Follow a clear, proven system from your first research idea to your finished thesis—and complement your learning with the companion book as an additional practical reference throughout your research and writing.

aclear example of poultry disease hinder satisfying poultry production is collibacillosisThis is the localized or systemic infection caused by avian pathogenic Escherichia Coli (APEC). It manifests in diverse ways such as acute fata septicemia, subacute pericarditis, airsaculitis, salpingitis/ peritonitis, cellulitis and lymphocytic depletion of bursa and thymus. This infection is seen worldwide in chickens, turkeys, etc. Morbidity varies, mortality is 5-20%. The infectious agent is moderately resistant in the environment, but is susceptible to disinfectants and to temperature of 80*c.ECONOMIC IMPORTANCE OF COLIBACCILOSISColibacillosis causes elevated morbidity and mortality leading to economic losses in the poultry farms especially around the peak of egg production, reduced FCR and carcass condemnation at processing in broilers. In LayersThere is sudden mortality with the absence of typical clinical signs due to the stress factors associated with egg production and systemically accompany by decrease in egg production and increase of poor-quality eggs.In BreedersWhen contamination of eggs with E. Coli lead to decrease hatchability and when there is in ovo contamination during incubation of eggs, this will also lead to production of poor-quality chicks with poor livability. In BroilersWhen there is systemic infection, this will lead to poor FCR (feed conversion ratio) and increased mortality, skin infection will cause inflammation of subcutaneous tissue which will lead increase condemnation of carcass at processing level.in 9 section I  discuss the most important bacterial diseases affect poultrysection 1 introductionsection 2 how to investigate afield problemsection3 disease survailance  necropsy  - lab dignosissection4 chalamidiosis the most important zoonotic  disease section5  infectious coryzasection6  salmonolosissection 7 fowl cholerasection8 mycoplasmosissection9  colibacillsis

poultry farming vaccines and vaccinations

Udemy Instructor

Immunization through vaccination is a commonly used method of reducing the risk (increased ID50) and consequence (reduced pathogenicity) of bird or flock exposure to a disease-causing agent..Vaccination is the practice of administering live and/or killed vaccines which have been modified to minimize disease manifestation yet maximize immunity. the primary purpose of immunization is to raise the ID50 of the flock to prevent clinical disease following subsequent challenge. While some vaccines are given to protect that individual bird against disease, others are given to pass the protection on to the next generation, and others are given to prevent disease in the hen and subsequent transmission of the disease to the chickVaccines and vaccine programs vary widely in their effectiveness, and this is frequently by design. Some vaccines are designed to incite high levels of immunity to protect birds in the face of aggressive endemic disease challenges, such as vvND. These vaccines may cause a mild form of the disease themselves but are deemed appropriate and useful because of the risk associated with eventual infection of the deadly field pathogen. Vaccine selection and how they are programmed frequently becomes an exercise in risk management and cost efficiency. Local conditions must always be considered when evaluating and critiquing a vaccination program.A second reason for the vaccination of poultry flocks is to hyper immunize hens to maximize maternally derived antibody passed through the egg to the hatching progeny.Chicks frequently receive up to 3 weeks of protection from maternal anti-bodies, allowing their immune system to mature to a level capable of eliciting an efficient active immune response if exposed to a potentially harmful virus or bacteria. Antibodies are not always completely protective but for viruses such as infectious bursal disease (IBD), many areas of the world have found maternal antibodies a very useful tool in IBD prevention and control. The success of vaccination does not rest solely with the manufacturing or research of vaccines. More important is the maintenance of the cold chain, protection of the vaccine from the elements, and the correct application of the vaccine to the bird.vaccination programs should be documented for each operation by the responsible veterinarian and operations manager. All vaccines must be stored at the correct temperature. Most vaccines require refrigeration at 2°C to 8°CSome vaccines, mostly killed oil vaccines, can be safely stored at room temperature. Some vaccines need to be stored at temperatures below 0°C..Vaccines are adversely affected by exposure to sunlight and heat. Vaccines must be administered using suitably cleaned equipment and be given to every bird in the defined epidemiological unitLive vaccines are widely used throughout the world because they are commonly effective when mass applied, and they are relatively economical.immunity from live vaccines is generally short-lived, particularly following initial exposure. Some exceptions to this exist for vaccines such as for infectious laryngo-tracheitis, fowl pox, and Marek’s disease, which give long-lived immunity.Inactivated vaccines or killed vaccines used in poultry are generally whole bacteria or virus preparations combined with an adjuvant that are designed for subcutaneous or intramuscular injectionThey are frequently, but not always, used in commercial egg layer and breeding birds to stimulate long lasting immunity and/or antibody levels to specific antigens.
