About this course

Welcome to Python: Zero to Professional. I’m excited to have you here. Whether you are completely new to programming or someone with basic exposure looking to build real-world Python skills, this course is designed specifically for you.

In this course, we will start from absolute basics—things like what Python is, how to write your first program—and gradually move into professional-level topics such as object-oriented programming, automation, working with APIs, databases, and building complete projects. You do not need any prior coding experience. I will explain every concept step by step, with practical examples and hands-on exercises.

By the end of this course, you will be able to confidently write Python programs, automate tasks, and build portfolio-ready projects that you can showcase in interviews or use in your own work. Make sure you code along with me. Learning programming is a hands-on skill, and the more you practice, the better you will get.

The course is divided into multiple sections. Each section focuses on a specific theme, such as Python fundamentals, control flow, data structures, object-oriented programming, and automation. Each lecture is intentionally kept short—usually between eight and ten minutes—so you can stay focused and easily revisit topics later.

After most sections, you’ll find hands-on exercises, quizzes, and mini-projects. These are extremely important. Watching videos alone is not enough—you must practice writing code.

Towards the end of the course, we will build multiple capstone projects. These projects bring together everything you have learned and are designed to be added to your professional portfolio.

HP ALM Mastery: Test Management, Defect Tracking & Reporting

Udemy Instructor

This course contains the use of Artificial Intelligence.|| UNOFFICIAL COURSE ||This course provides a comprehensive introduction to HP Application Lifecycle Management (HP ALM), one of the industry's leading platforms for managing software quality, requirements, testing, and defect tracking throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). Whether you are new to HP ALM or looking to strengthen your understanding of enterprise test management, this course offers a structured learning experience that covers the concepts, workflows, and best practices used by quality assurance teams in modern software projects. You will begin by exploring the fundamentals of quality assurance and application lifecycle management, gaining a clear understanding of how HP ALM supports collaboration between business analysts, developers, testers, and project managers. The course explains the platform's architecture, navigation, security model, user roles, and governance features while demonstrating how the Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) aligns with HP ALM's integrated modules. As you progress, you will learn how to manage business and functional requirements effectively using HP ALM. The course covers requirement organization, hierarchical structures, categorization techniques, requirement traceability, risk-based testing principles, coverage analysis, change management, and baseline management. You will understand how maintaining complete traceability improves project visibility and ensures that every requirement is validated through testing. The course then focuses on test management, guiding you through the creation of structured test plans, standardized test cases, reusable test assets, parameterization techniques, and dynamic test design. You will explore the Test Lab module, learn how to organize test sets, execute manual tests, monitor execution progress, and interpret execution results to support informed decision-making throughout the testing process.A significant portion of the course is dedicated to defect management and quality tracking. You will examine the complete defect lifecycle, understand state transitions, classify defects using severity and priority levels, analyze root causes, establish end-to-end traceability between requirements, tests, and defects, and apply effective defect triage and escalation practices. You will also learn how organizations measure software quality using defect metrics, reporting techniques, and key performance indicators.Beyond day-to-day testing activities, this course introduces advanced administrative capabilities of HP ALM, including project customization, user administration, workflow customization, cross-project standardization, and integration with external tools commonly used within enterprise software development environments. You will also discover how dashboards, reports, and executive metrics provide stakeholders with real-time visibility into project health, testing progress, and product quality.Throughout the course, emphasis is placed on industry-recognized quality assurance practices, governance principles, and lifecycle management concepts that are applicable across Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid software development methodologies. Rather than focusing solely on tool navigation, the course explains the reasoning behind each process, helping you understand how HP ALM supports efficient planning, execution, collaboration, and continuous quality improvement.By the end of this course, you will have a solid understanding of how HP ALM is used to manage requirements, design and execute tests, track defects, maintain traceability, administer projects, and generate meaningful reports for project stakeholders. These skills will prepare you to work more effectively with enterprise quality assurance teams, contribute to software testing initiatives with confidence, and build a strong foundation in application lifecycle management using HP ALM.Thank you
