About this course

This course contains the use of artificial intelligence. LangGraph is the runtime underneath a lot of the agent code being written right now, and most material about it starts in the middle. You get a working snippet, a diagram with four boxes, and no answer to the question you actually have: what is in the state after that node ran, and why did the field I was collecting into come back with one item instead of three.

This course answers that question first and keeps answering it. Six modules build one frame and then spend the largest module on a single agent. You see the graph a team sketched before writing anything, the first version with four nodes and one conditional edge, the version where notes started disappearing, the one line that fixed it, the approval gate that stopped a four-figure order from going out unseen, the day the process died mid-run and the thread resumed, and the three things that changed before it shipped.

Six versions, in order, each one a reaction to something that went wrong in the last. Nothing here needs installing. There is no key to get, no database to run and no account to open.

Code arrives as slices of eight lines or fewer with a note on the lines that matter, and every output on screen is the text that really printed when the example was run. The practice lessons are one or two minutes of thinking, answered in your chair, with the model answer shown immediately whether you worked it out or not. What you get from that is the ability to read somebody else's graph and say what it does, to name the part that is broken when a field will not hold its contents, and to know which of the four layers of this stack a given problem belongs to.

What you do not get is a deployed application, because building one is a different course and this one says so. The last module is unusually honest for a course. One lesson is entirely about when LangGraph is the wrong tool, with four cases where a plain loop or a ready-made harness is the better answer.

Another names six subjects this course skipped and where to go for each. A course that only tells you when its subject fits has taught you half of the decision. Two companies run through the course.

A parts distributor triaging supplier back-order emails carries modules one through five. A college checking admission documents appears in module six to show the same shape failing differently. Both are composite cases, assembled from documented patterns, and the course states that on screen rather than claiming a postmortem nobody published.

Every module ends with a memo you keep: the terms in plain words, the diagrams worth saving, and a one-line cheat sheet. The last module adds a combined memo with every term in the course, a vocabulary for the words you will hear in meetings and job adverts, and a sheet on reading adverts and interview questions about this subject. Covers LangGraph 1.

x, including the move from the old prebuilt agent to the current one and the middleware model that came with it.

Hermes Agent for Beginners: Understand AI Agents

Abay Assenov

This course contains the use of artificial intelligence.Hermes Agent is everywhere right now, and most of the talk around it assumes you already know what an AI agent is. This course starts from the other end. You will not install anything and you will not write a single line of code. You will watch, listen and follow one small business from its first Monday with an agent to the day something goes wrong, until the words around Hermes Agent stop sounding like noise. So what is Hermes Agent? It is open source software from Nous Research. It keeps working on its own computer, remembers what it learned, saves good ways of working as skills, and reports back through the chat apps you already use. It is not a language model, and it is not a chatbot with a fancier name. Telling those things apart is the first job of this course, because most of the confusion online starts there. Most Hermes Agent courses teach you to install and build. That is useful if you already know why you want it. This course is for the step before: understanding. Three things make it different. First, no term arrives as a bare definition. Every key word comes with a thing you already know, and every module opens with a short glossary lesson. Second, one case runs from start to finish. Birchwood Print is a fictional online print shop with a handful of people, built for this course and named as invented, so you can see each part of the agent do real work. Third, it is honest. You will see where setups go wrong, what happened when an email went out with an invented supplier delay, and who should not use an agent at all. What you will cover, module by module:Module 1, What Hermes Agent Is and What It Is Made Of (0.7 hours). A working day with the agent, how it differs from a regular chatbot, how it differs from OpenClaw and similar tools, and the six parts inside it and how they link.Module 2, The Words People Use (0.5 hours). The vocabulary you will hear in videos, forums and job posts: session search, user profile and skill file, toolsets and MCP servers, cron jobs and delivery targets.Module 3, One Agent, Start to Finish (1.0 hours). Birchwood Print hires the agent on a Monday. You follow the Telegram front door, the first saved skill, a morning brief that runs alone, and the day an email goes wrong.Module 4, How It Lives in Real Work (0.4 hours). A full week of ordinary use, and a clear look at where setups fail and why: rights, containers and the habits that keep mistakes small.Module 5, What Next (1.0 hours). This last module is where the extras live. It includes a lesson on the OpenClaw and Hermes Agent noise, a second case about a freelance bookkeeper named Dana Okafor in a very different business, a lesson on what changes when the agent uses local models, a lesson on how skills are shared and checked, and a lesson to help you decide whether Hermes Agent is right for you. It also comes with a combined course memo (a printable PDF), a field vocabulary of about forty phrases you will hear in meetings and interviews, and a short guide to spotting real agent work in job posts, with five interview questions and what the interviewer wants to hear. Each module also has a short memo you can print and a three-question quiz to check yourself. The quiz is optional and nothing is graded. How the lessons work. Each lesson is a short video of about ten minutes with a presenter and clear pictures, built so you can follow along on a phone, a laptop or a big screen. Slides show the idea, and the voice explains why it is built that way, what it looks like in real life and what people mix it up with. You never get homework. If a term is new, the glossary lesson that opens its module has already given you a plain example. If you only need a quick refresher, the module memo gives you the main points in about five minutes of reading.A note on the story. Birchwood Print and Dana Okafor are invented for this course, and the course says so out loud. Their numbers and days are illustrations that make the ideas concrete. Facts about Hermes Agent itself come from its public project pages and documentation, and anything the sources disagree on is described in general terms instead of with a made-up exact figure.Who gets the most from it. If you are a founder, manager or freelancer, you will leave with enough understanding to ask good questions and to judge any offer, demo or video about agents. If you are changing careers or reading job posts, you will recognise the vocabulary and know which lines describe real agent work. If you are simply curious, you will finally know what everyone is talking about. What is not in this course: there is no installation walkthrough, no code, no account setup, no benchmark table and no promise about prices or speed. Details that change with every release are kept out of the videos on purpose, so what you learn here stays true. You will finish able to explain Hermes Agent in plain words, tell it apart from the things it is confused with, follow a conversation full of its vocabulary, picture how it fits into a small team's week, and decide with open eyes whether to try it yourself.

Backend Development with Golang, Python, Flask, and MongoDB

Christ Raharja

Welcome to Backend Development with Golang, Python, Flask, and MongoDB course. This is a comprehensive project based course where you will learn how to build two backend projects. The first one is inventory management system and the second is restaurant reservation system. This course is a perfect combination between backend development and database integration, making it an ideal opportunity to practice your programming skills while improving your technical knowledge in software development. In the introduction session, you will learn the basic fundamentals of backend development, such as getting to know CRUD operations, learn how to connect backend systems with databases, and also getting to know common issues in backend. Then, in the next section, we will install Golang and set up a MongoDB database, making sure your development environment is fully ready. Afterwards, we will start the first project. We are going to build an inventory management system using Golang. Firstly, we are going to create CRUD operations, enabling users to Add New Items, Update Items, and Delete Items. For each item, we will use a consistent data structure that includes name, SKU, quantity, price, supplier name, category, reorder Point, and lead time. Then, after that, we are also going to build an inventory dashboard where users can view all items, search and sort items by name, category and stock level. Additionally, the users will also be able to monitor the quantity of each item in real time and most importantly, the data will be updated whenever items are added, sold, or removed. Following that, we are going to create a low stock notification which will automatically alert users when the quantity of an item falls below its reorder point, helping to prevent stockouts. The inventory management system will also have reports and analytics tab, where users can view total items, low stock items, total inventory value, and visual charts representing stock level by category and average lead time by category. Meanwhile, in the second project, we are going to build a restaurant table reservation system using Python, Flask, and MongoDB. Firstly, we are going to create CRUD operations, the users will be able to add table reservation, update reservation, and cancel reservation, additionally, they can also select the date and time for their booking. Each reservation will use a structured data format including customer name, number of guests, and table number. Then, the second feature that we are going to build is a table management system. This feature will enable staff to efficiently track and manage table availability and capacity in real time, ensuring that reservations are allocated correctly. In addition, we are also going to build a waitlist management system, which automatically adds customers to a waiting list when all tables are full. We are also going to integrate the backend system with a MongoDB database, allowing the restaurant to store, retrieve, and update reservation data efficiently. Lastly, at the end of the course, we are going to conduct testing to make sure the systems have been fully functioning and all features are working as intended.Firstly, before getting into the course, we need to ask this question to ourselves, why should we learn about backend development? Well, here is my answer, the backend is the engine of any application or software, it handles data storage, processes user requests, and enables communication between UI and database, which is what makes the application functional.Below are things that you can expect to learn from this course:Learn the basic fundamentals of backend development, CRUD operations, and learn how to connect backend with databaseLearn how to build inventory management system with GolangLearn how to build restaurant reservation system with Python, Flask, and MongoDBLearn how to build data models and system core structureLearn how to create backend logics and implement CRUD operationsLearn how to create HTTP handlers and define routesLearn how to design user interface and create HTML templateLearn how to design inventory dashboard UILearn how to design analytics and reporting tab UILearn how to setup MongoDB database and create clusterLearn how to build Flask app and connect backend with MongoDB databaseLearn how to design restaurant reservation website UI and create utility functionsLearn how to build restaurant reservation dashboardLearn how to create function to add reservationLearn how to create function to display reservation dataLearn how to create function to edit and cancel reservationLearn how to build and design table management systemLearn how to create waitlist management system
