Communicating Through Disagreement Master Class

Disagreement is a natural part of human interaction, especially in environments where diverse perspectives and ideas are valued. Rather than avoiding conflict, effective communicators learn to engage with disagreement in a constructive manner. The goal is not to "win" the argument but to understand differing viewpoints, clarify intentions, and move toward shared solutions.

A key skill in navigating disagreement is active listening. Often, during conflict, people focus on formulating their rebuttal instead of truly hearing what the other person is saying.
