About this course

The only question that matters the week before your exam is whether you are ready, and a question bank that tells you "83 percent" without telling you where you lost the other 17 is not an answer. Every test in this course reports your score by exam domain, against the seven sections of the official exam guide, so you always know what to revise next. There are 225 original questions across five full-length practice exams, built to the exam guide published on 30 October 2025 and weighted exactly as Databricks weights it: Apache Spark Architecture and Components 20 percent, Using Spark SQL 20 percent, Developing DataFrame and DataSet API Applications 30 percent, Troubleshooting and Tuning 10 percent, Structured Streaming 10 percent, Spark Connect 5 percent, pandas API on Spark 5 percent.

All code is Python, because the exam is Python only. If you have looked at practice material for this certification before, read this paragraph. The exam that most of the material online prepares for no longer exists.

The retired Spark 3. 0 exam was 60 questions in 120 minutes, was offered in Python and Scala, and put around 72 percent of its weight on the DataFrame API. The current exam is 45 questions in 90 minutes, Python only, and examines four subject areas the 3.

0 exam never touched: Structured Streaming, Spark Connect, the pandas API on Spark, and troubleshooting and tuning as a domain in its own right. Preparing on 60-question tests that never mention watermarks, output modes or gRPC will leave you short on a fifth of the paper. The five tests climb deliberately.

Test 1, Groundwork, is a cold baseline of short, direct questions. Test 2, In Practice, gives you realistic snippets and asks you to separate calls that look interchangeable. Test 3, Trade-offs, gives you two defensible answers and one constraint in the scenario that decides between them.

Test 4, Under the Hood, is about exact defaults, signatures and accepted parameter strings. Test 5, Exam Day, matches the real exam on length and clock and mixes domains inside single long scenarios. Every answer option carries its own explanation, not just the right one, and each wrong option says what it actually is, so the distinction sticks.

On top of that each question has a full rationale of a few hundred words ending with a link to the Apache Spark or Databricks documentation page that supports it. Where a fact changed between Spark releases, or where the documentation contradicts the runtime, that topic was deliberately left out rather than keyed to a value that might be wrong on your exam day. The pass mark is set at 80 percent for the first four tests and 85 percent for the simulation.

Databricks does not publish its passing score - it is set by statistical analysis and can change - so a scaled result cannot be converted into a percentage, and the only safe target is one comfortably above any plausible cut. What this is not: a video course, a lab environment, or real exam questions. Every question here was written from the published objectives.

This course is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Databricks or the Apache Software Foundation. Apache Spark is a trademark of the Apache Software Foundation. Frequently Asked QuestionsAre these real exam questions?

No. All questions are original and based on the official exam objectives. They match the style, difficulty and topic weighting of the real exam, without copying it.

How do the five practice tests work? The tests increase in difficulty. Start with Practice Test 1 to find your weak areas, study those topics and move on.

Practice Test 5 is the hardest and serves as a final check before your exam. Can I review my answers? Yes.

After each attempt you can review every question, with a detailed explanation of why the correct answer is right and why the other options are wrong. What score should I aim for? Each test has a passing score in line with the real exam.

Aim for consistent scores of 85% or higher before booking your exam. You can retake every test as often as you like. Are the questions up to date?

Yes. The questions follow the current official exam objectives and are updated when the exam changes. Is this course enough to pass the exam?

These tests check your readiness and show your knowledge gaps. Combine them with the official learning materials and hands-on practice for the best results.

Are you actually ready to sit the Databricks Certified Machine Learning Professional exam? That is the only question these five practice tests are built to answer, and they answer it with evidence rather than a feeling. You get 295 questions, written against the current exam guide covering the skills measured as of September 2025, and weighted exactly as the real exam is weighted: 44% Model Development, 44% MLOps, 12% Model Deployment. Every test carries 59 questions, the same number the real exam scores. If you prepared for this exam earlier, note what changed. Until 30 September 2025 the exam was organised around Experimentation, Model Lifecycle Management, Model Deployment, and Solution and Data Monitoring. The current version expects distributed training and tuning with the pandas Function API, Optuna and Ray, advanced Feature Engineering including point-in-time correctness and on-demand features, Databricks Asset Bundles, automated retraining, drift detection with Lakehouse Monitoring, and custom PyFunc models on Databricks Model Serving. Older question banks still test model registry stages and registry webhooks, neither of which applies to models in Unity Catalog. Practising against the wrong exam is worse than not practising. The five tests rise in difficulty while keeping the same shape. Test 1, Groundwork, asks direct single-concept questions and gives you a clean baseline. Test 2, In Practice, puts you in short scenarios that separate services people confuse. Test 3, Trade-offs, gives you two defensible options and one constraint that decides between them. Test 4, Under the Hood, tests the implementation detail: arguments, commands, metric table columns and serving configuration. Test 5, Exam Day, is a full 59-question simulation in 120 minutes with mixed domains and long stems.Every answer option has its own explanation saying why it is right or, when it is wrong, what that option actually does. Each question then closes with an overall explanation of 400 to 650 characters and a link to the official Databricks or MLflow documentation, so you can go straight to the source. After each attempt you get a score per domain, which tells you where to revise. The pass mark is set at 80% for tests 1 to 4 and 85% for test 5, above what the real exam requires. Databricks does not publish a passing score for the Databricks Certified Machine Learning Professional exam, and scaled scores are not percentages, so a deliberate margin is the honest way to judge readiness. These tests will not teach you Databricks. Use them alongside the official Databricks Academy training and the documentation, and use the explanations to find the gaps. None of these questions are real exam questions.Frequently Asked QuestionsAre these real exam questions? No. All questions are original and based on the official exam objectives. Databricks ML Associate: 5 Practice Exams, 240 Q (2026)

Udemy Instructor

Can you pass the Databricks Certified Machine Learning Associate exam today? Not "do you know Databricks" - can you sit 48 questions in 90 minutes, under someone else's clock, and clear a cut score Databricks does not publish? That is a different question, and this course is built to answer it.Five practice exams, 48 questions each, 240 questions in total. Every test matches the real exam's length and timing and follows the four sections of the exam guide that is live as of 1 March 2025: Databricks Machine Learning, Data Processing, Model Development and Model Deployment. Because each test uses the same section weighting, your per-section score is comparable from one attempt to the next, and you can see a weak area shrink instead of guessing. If you have been studying from older material, check the date on it. The Databricks ML Associate exam went from 45 questions to 48 in October 2024 and gained multiple-selection questions. The outline was then rewritten in March 2025: the old section devoted to Spark ML is gone, feature tables and the model registry are Unity Catalog objects, and models are promoted with aliases rather than the old workspace stages. Practice tests written against the previous outline will train you for an exam that no longer exists. The five tests build. Test 1 is a cold baseline of short, direct questions. Test 2 puts them into short scenarios and asks you to separate tools that sit next to each other. Test 3 gives you two defensible answers and one constraint that decides. Test 4 goes to parameters, method behaviour and arithmetic. Test 5 is a full simulation: longest stems, mixed sections, 90 minutes, one sitting.Every answer option has its own feedback, so you find out why the option you picked was wrong and what it actually does. Every question closes with an overall explanation and a link to the Databricks, MLflow or Spark documentation page it came from. The pass mark is set at 80% on tests 1 to 4 and 85% on test 5, deliberately above what you need on the day. What this is not: it is not a course, and it is not a dump. There are no real exam questions here. Use it alongside the free Databricks Academy self-paced courses and a workspace you can break.Frequently Asked QuestionsAre these real exam questions? No. All questions are original and based on the official exam objectives. Databricks Data Engineer Professional: 5 Practice Tests

Udemy Instructor

Are you ready to sit the Databricks Certified Data Engineer Professional exam? This course answers that question with 295 exam-style questions across five full-length practice tests, each one 59 questions long, exactly the number of scored questions on the real exam.Every question is built on the official exam guide dated 3 July 2026 and its ten sections, using the weightings Databricks publishes: Developing Code for Data Processing using Python and SQL, Data Ingestion and Acquisition, Data Transformation, Cleansing and Quality, Data Sharing and Federation, Monitoring and Alerting, Cost and Performance Optimization, Ensuring Data Security and Compliance, Data Governance, Debugging and Deploying, and Data Modeling. Because every test uses the same distribution, your per-domain score report is comparable across attempts. That currency matters more for this exam than for most. In September 2025 the exam was restructured from six sections to ten, and the July 2026 guide added the published weightings and moved to 59 scored questions. Material written for the old structure drills Databricks SQL warehousing and skips Unity Catalog managed tables, Lakehouse Federation, deletion vectors, liquid clustering, Change Data Feed, row filters and column masks, and Declarative Automation Bundles. It also uses retired product names. This course uses the terminology of the current guide: Lakeflow Spark Declarative Pipelines, Lakeflow Jobs, AUTO CDC, Declarative Automation Bundles and Databricks Git folders. The five tests get harder in a deliberate order. Test 1 is groundwork, one concept per question. Test 2 puts you in short practical situations. Test 3 is the hard one: two answers are defensible and a single constraint decides. Test 4 goes down to parameter names, SQL syntax and CLI commands. Test 5 is a full simulation with the longest scenarios and the real 120-minute clock.Every answer option carries its own feedback saying why it is right or wrong and what the wrong option actually is, plus an overall explanation with a link to the official documentation. Tests 1 to 4 require 80 percent to pass and test 5 requires 85 percent, above the real exam, because practising at home is milder than sitting in a test centre. This is a question bank with explanations, not a video course. It will find your weak sections and explain the answers. Pair it with the free Databricks Academy material and hands-on work in Databricks Free Edition.Frequently Asked QuestionsAre these real exam questions? No. All questions are original and based on the official exam objectives.
