As organizations integrate Large Language Models (LLMs) into their workflows, they face complex risks including "Shadow AI," data leakage, prompt injection attacks, and hallucination-based liabilities. Furthermore, the regulatory environment is tightening globally, with frameworks such as the EU AI Act and various US Executive Orders mandating strict compliance standards. Participants will explore four distinct modules designed to build high-level competency in Responsible AI:Foundations of Governance:** We begin by defining the strategic scope of AI governance, distinguishing between proactive and reactive management.

Learners will analyze the "Five Core Pillars" of Responsible AI—Transparency, Accountability, Fairness, Reliability, and Privacy—and understand how to articulate the business value of these pillars to stakeholders. Risk Management & Guardrails:** This section delves into the technical and operational mechanics of safety. We examine strategies to mitigate hallucinations, prevent prompt injections, and manage data leakage.

The course outlines how to implement Human-in-the-Loop (HITL) processes for high-stakes decisions and how to draft an internal AI Ethics Charter. Regulatory & Legal Landscape:** We provide a structured overview of the current legal environment, specifically focusing on the EU AI Act, intellectual property challenges, and data privacy laws (GDPR/CCPA). This includes strategies for protecting trade secrets within prompt engineering and managing third-party vendor risks.

Operationalizing Strategy:** Governance must be actionable. We demonstrate how to integrate compliance checks directly into Agile and CI/CD workflows, define roles through a RACI matrix, and establish cross-functional governance committees.
